Howdy friends!

I hope I haven't been missing out too much...I was without a working computer for about 8 months, and I FINALLY got a new charger a couple weeks ago.

Let me just say, that being a mother is by far the best thing that has ever happened to me. Preston is the biggest blessing I could ever ask for, and I'm so happy that I'm his momma. He's growing super fast. Trying to crawl, a very happy baby; he's constantly smiling and laughing. He'll be 4 months in 2 weeks, and I can't believe it! These past 4 months have FLOWN by. I wish he'd slow down, and stop growing up so fast, but I just love watching him learn and grow every single day. 

He loves the outdoors. It's absolutely one of his favorite things. Anytime he is upset, I just take him outside and he calms down in like 2.5 seconds. No joke. He loves looking at himself in the mirror. Can you say #vanitylover? And he's already such a flirt at 3.5 months old. 

Anywho, all I ever do is take care of my baby boy, and try to work as much as possible. His dad still isn't really in the picture...he maybe comes to see Preston like twice a month. But oh well. I'm done trying to get him to grow up and be a father. I'm not his mom, and he's right at 26 years old, so he needs to act like it.

Holy baby!

Hey guys! What's been going on?! I'll tell you what's been up with me, I had a baby!

My handsome baby boy, Preston Blake Mitchell was born on Tuesday, April 29th, at 11:06am!

He's my whole world! I love him to pieces, and he's definitely already a mommy's boy!

Rachael from The Rachael Way also sent me the cutest card!

Let's just say I'm having the time of my life, and being a mother is the best thing that's ever happened to be.

I'm still alive~

Hii everyone, 

I know I haven't posted in a HOT minute, not having a working laptop kind of sucks. It's not the easiest thing in the world to try to blog on my ipad/phone, so I'm borrowing my roommate's macbook to do this post!

Just to update you all, I'm having Preston on Monday! Yes, you read that correctly, MONDAY! I seriously can't believe it's already that time. I'm more than ready to meet my little man, but I hate that it has to be through a c-section. 

My last day of work was Thursday, so I haven't been doing much of anything, but sleeping, and doing baby related stuff. 

Thoughts and prayers would be appreciated for a smooth and safe delivery, and for a healthy baby, and I will definitely update with pictures and such as soon as I possibly can!

Update!

Well, well, well. Look who's finally deciding to show a little bit?

That's right! This girl right here. My little boy is as big as an ear of corn as of today!

I'm officially 23 weeks pregnant. And feeling this little miracle move more and more every day!

 

 

 

It's been one hell of a trip so far, but it's gonna be so worth it all in the end.

 

I know it's not much of a post, but decided to update my followers a little about how baby boy is growing like a weed!

2013 in a nutshell.

2013 was a rollercoaster of a year for me. As the year has slowly came to an end, I'm finally getting to the next amazing crest of an airtime hill that I hope never ends.

 

As the year began, I was just a girl slaving away trying to earn a living off what people decided to leave me based on how well of a job I did "entertaining" them. Aka; Server life. That went on for a few good months, until I came across this guy that ended up changing my life forever, whether I want to admit it to myself or not. I may not be happy with the choices and decisions he's made since I broke up with him, but for the rest of my life, part of him will always be with me. But I'll get more into that shortly.

 

We didn't have that long of a run; but for the most part, until he did some things that I'd rather not get in to, it was a happy relationship. Then things just started going downhill, and before it completely ruined me, I decided it would be best to just go ahead and end the entire thing.

 

We're still currently living together, but just as roommates, and yes, it is awkward, but it's the only thing I can do right now.

 

 

But as I was saying earlier...how part of him will always be with me....

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Yes, that's right! I'm having a baby. A baby boy to be exact. And I couldn't be more happier. I can't wait to meet my little man Preston Blake Mitchell in May 2014!

 

 

 

 

 

But I'm super glad to be putting 2013 in the books, wrapping it up, and hopefully never looking back at all the low valleys I hit.

 

2014 will be a better year. I'll make sure of it. I'll have my little bundle of joy to make it all better; I've got my best friends by my side no matter what, and my family is my rock. I refuse to let things get as bad as they did this year.
